A booklet in order to share more of who I am as a designer drawing from a poem that I wrote backwards and in cherry scented ink to be paired with a little star mirror. The class project that this stemmed from was based around self branding, I chose to include mirror poetry backwards (similar to that of how Leonardo da Vinci wrote in his journals in a way to question the solidity of a branded person, place, organization, or thing); + a photogrammetry scan of my face at that time and an overlay of the journal i was writing in at that time to be how I self identified. Someone asked me, ‘well, if you aren’t into the ego, why put your face in it?’ I replied saying ‘well. this face and this likeness of me is impermanent and so it is as superficial as branding can feel as one (individual or company) changes through time.
