mimicry & mirage

Drawing inspiration from camouflage in the natural world, the exhibition “Mimicry & Mirage” showcases digital artworks that challenge perceptions and invite viewers to question what is seen, hidden, or imagined. The show, which opens with a reception from 5-8 pm Thursday, November 20 at the Cook Center’s Process Gallery (in Maxwell Hall on the IU Bloomington campus), features works by current digital art students and alumni, curated by Eskenazi faculty Megan Young

Featuring works by Shawn Bailey, Dyllan Evans, Lyndsey Gillespie, Tea Held, Cerridwen Isa James, Zuzanna Kukawska, Jada McDaniel, Yonevea Sapcut, and Ze Treasure Troll, the exhibition is supported by an XRI Faculty Fellows Grant from the Center for Teaching and Learning and University Information Technology Services (UITS), Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design, and the Bloomington Arts & Humanities Council.

Mimicry & Mirage remains on view Monday through Friday noon-4 pm through March 6.
